Job summary

The Lodge at Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores, AL, is seeking a Part-time Tram Driver to safely transport guests between the hotel, airports, and local attractions while assisting with luggage and providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, vehicle upkeep, and coordinating with the front desk to meet guest needs. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and guest care in a beachside setting.

Qualifications

• The ability to safely and professionally operate a shuttle van or passenger bus in various weather and traffic conditions.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
• For larger vehicles (16+ passengers), a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement is required.
• Familiarity with local roads, traffic patterns, landmarks, and efficient use of GPS systems.

Responsibilities

• Safe and timely transportation of guests to/from airports, stations, and attractions.
• Greet guests and assist with loading/unloading luggage while providing friendly service.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness inside and out and manage schedules with front desk staff.
