Job summary

Best Western Plus Settlers Point Hotel is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to work Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The role starts at $15.00/hr, with experience preferred and opportunities to grow within the company. You will maintain guest room cleanliness, restock supplies, and ensure all areas meet hotel standards.

Team collaboration, reliability, and a customer‑oriented approach are essential. Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, reporting items left by guests, and supporting the team

Qualifications

• Provide an orderly, clean and enjoyable environment for guests.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain high performance.
• Customer-oriented and friendly demeanor.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Prioritization and time management skills.
• Ability to perform physical housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic housekeeping duties: change sheets and towels, restock toiletries, vacuum, dust, clean and rearrange rooms after checkout.
• Work quickly to meet a quick room turnaround schedule.
• Report left-behind guest items and rotate cleaning of public areas.
• Report property damage and work with the housekeeping team to complete shifts.
• Clean, disinfect and store equipment at end of shift.
• Maintain brand and hotel standards of presentation and secure access key cards.
