Job summary

Sirocco Food & Drink and the Coast Rehoboth Beach, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Rehoboth Beach, DE is seeking a friendly Server to join our service team. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has hospitality focus, a can-do attitude, and the ability to upsell. We offer part-time hours, team discounts, and a supportive work setting with training on standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, time management and mathematical skills.
• Fluent in English with clear guest and team communication.
• Team player with willingness to pitch-in.
• Basic knowledge of Beer, Wine and Spirits; familiar with menu items.
• Knowledge of MICROS helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous food & beverage service to guests while maximizing sales volume.
• Provide superior table service to guests in accordance with established standards.
• Ensure customer requests are completed in a courteous manner based on our standards.
• Maintain clean and organized work area to maximize efficiency and aesthetic standards.
• Notify management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired customers.
• Must check IDs and not serve guests without valid ID.
• Complete payment transactions and complete all side-work as required.
• Suspend service to intoxicated individuals in accordance with Delaware law.
• Execute other duties as assigned by management.
