Job summary

Allied Universal in Memphis, TN is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Hospital Driver to protect patients, staff and visitors while supporting hospital operations. This unarmed driving role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to respond calmly to emergencies.

You will patrol, monitor access points, report incidents, and provide excellent customer service in a healthcare setting. Pay is $17.91 per hour with flexible day-time and overnight shifts through the Claim a Shift platform;

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
