Job summary

Optum CPS is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacist to provide essential medication management and clinical services for hospitalized patients at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan, OH. Up to 35 hours weekly with flexible scheduling; shifts Mon-Fri 7:30 AM–6:00 PM and Sat 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Requirements include PharmD or equivalent and an active Ohio license (or eligibility by start). Hospital experience (3+ months) preferred; collaborative team approach and regulatory compliance emphasized.

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree.
• Active Ohio pharmacist license in good standing or eligibility by start date.
• 3+ months hospital pharmacy experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense medication orders to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Provide clinical pharmacy services including medication therapy management.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize regimens for hospitalized patients.
• Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding; ensure USP compliance.
• Monitor outcomes and safety; support pharmacy operations and staff.
