Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring for a part-time Linen Services role. The position is 20 hours per week with a day shift schedule M-F 7:00am to 3:30pm and rotation every other weekend/holiday.

Compensation starts at $18.00 per hour, with duties including linen ordering, stocking, delivery, and data collection to support hospital operations. Essential tasks involve handling linen inventory, assisting with special items, cleaning carts, and ensuring infection

Qualificações

• High School Diploma/Equivalent preferred but not required.
• Physical Demands: Able to lift up to 50–70 pounds occasionally; stand, walk, bend, kneel, twist and reach.
• Experience with sewing machine preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Fills linen orders and places/par-level linen on exchange carts.
• Checks linen stocks, calculates need and delivers replacement linen to units.
• Monitors and transports soiled linen carts from patient floors to the soiled linen storage room.
• Collects linen use data and tracks indicators for cost accounting.
• Manages the specials system (cycling of hospital items) and maintains quality control.
• Cleans all linen carts and stock areas to maintain infection control.
