Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is seeking part-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for the 1st Shift at Tennova North Knoxville Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Immediate offers will be extended to qualified candidates, with a 7:00 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m. shift and rotational weekends on-site. As an Environmental Service Hospital Housekeeper, you will clean and maintain patient areas and common spaces, handling floors, restrooms, waste disposal, and related tasks with safety and infection-control in mind.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in janitorial services is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-offer medical, background screening and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and vacuums floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, and door panels.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment between departments.
