Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is recruiting for Full-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers to join the Tennova Newport Medical Center team in Newport, TN.

The positions cover all shifts with first, second, and third shifts listed, offering stable on-site employment at a healthcare campus and the chance to contribute to patient cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and corridors, detailing fixtures and surfaces, transporting waste and equipment, and restocking supplies.

Qualifications

• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and vacuums floors; dusts furniture and equipment; polishes metalwork.
• Cleans lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim; washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash to the disposal area; replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment between departments.
