Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center is seeking an Environmental Service Worker to join our team in Clinton, IA. Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematics normally required to measure and prepare cleaning compounds, read directions, and apply cleaning chemicals safely.
• Must have manual dexterity.
• Must clean isolation areas and work in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean client rooms, nursing units, lounges, lavatories, bathrooms, offices and other areas.
• Follow unit-specific cleaning procedures and infection-control standards.
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals for each surface to prevent damage.
• Assist with patient care as needed.
