Job summary

River Point Behavioral Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks a part-time cook for the Dietary department to prepare and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner for patients and staff, following approved menus and production sheets. Qualifications

• Must have an 8th grade education or higher and at least 6 months related commercial experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and service breakfast, lunch and dinner meals for patients and facility staff according to the approved menu cycle and production sheets.
• Maintain overall cleanliness of the kitchen and monitor kitchen aides for dining room cleaning.
• Fill out all temperature logs daily and ensure removal of all trash.
• Perform a thorough walk through of all dietary spaces prior to clocking out.
• Ensure frozen products for the next day are moved into the walk-in refrigerator.
