Ennoble Care is seeking a part-time Hospice Registered Nurse to cover weekends in the Philadelphia region. The role focuses on compassionate end-of-life care, symptom management, and family support for terminally ill patients in home settings.

You will collaborate with physicians to plan care and visit patients on Saturdays and Sundays. The ideal candidate holds a valid NJ RN license with hospice or RN experience, strong communication skills, and a compassionate, stable approach.

Qualifications

• A valid RN license to practice within the State of NJ.
• Proven experience as hospice nurse or registered nurse.
• Must be able to work at least 1 - 2 weekends per month on Saturday and Sunday from 8:30am - 5:00pm.
• Knowledge of nursing care processes and medication guidelines/side-effects.
• Committed to safety precautions and high ethical standards.
• Sound judgement and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to plan care
• Make visits to the patient as needed to evaluate their condition
• Provide support and comfort according to individual patient’s needs
• Work with caregivers to plan and execute excellent patient care
• Help in administering medication
• Alleviate sudden symptoms of the disease’s end phase
• Notify a doctor for a patient’s condition when deemed necessary
• Assist patients and their families with paperwork
• Maintain accurate records
• Help relatives cope with the upcoming loss and provide post-mortem support

Job Summary:

Ennoble Care is looking for a part-time Hospice Registered Nurse within and around the Philadelphia, PA region to provide care and support to terminally ill patients on weekends. Your presence and services should bring comfort to the person who faces the end of their lives and help them reach acceptance and peace of mind. A compassionate nature and excellent interpersonal skills will make you a good candidate for this position. We expect you to be knowledgeable in caring for the terminally ill, performing tasks such as administering medication and providing emotional support. The goal is to help patients live their final days with dignity and comfort.

Flat On-Call Rate: $350 for the weekend plus $85 per visit, $85 per pronouncement, and $150 per admission rates
