Sinclair Community College’s Horticulture Department seeks a part-time adjunct faculty member to teach Agriculture with a focus on Greenhouse Management and Horticulture at Southeastern Correctional – Lancaster, Ohio. Qualifications

• Master's degree in horticulture or related field.
• Proven teaching experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to use instructional technology.
• Willingness to pursue professional development.
• Ability to teach in a face-to-face setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize instruction.
• Prepare and submit syllabi for assigned sections.
• Use appropriate teaching and learning strategies including technology.
• Modify instructional methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Support efforts to promote student learning.
• Evaluate and return student work promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress.
• Submit final grade rosters by deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Adhere to credit hour limits (max 12 per semester).
