Amedisys, one of the nation's largest home health and hospice providers, seeks a licensed practical nurse for part-time days in Mount Pleasant, SC. Join our team to deliver compassionate care at patients' homes.

You will verify plans of care with the RN, monitor vitals, reconcile medications, perform procedures, educate patients and caregivers, and document visits promptly. LPN licensure in the state, CPR, and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualificações

• One year of clinical LPN experience.
• Current LPN license, state-specific.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Verify plan of care with the RN prior to each visit.
• Collaborate with physician and RN to meet patient needs and report changes.
• Teach patients and caregivers self-care techniques.
• Check vital signs.
• Review medications and perform medication reconciliation at each visit.
• Perform physician-ordered procedures (e.g., foley catheter change).
• Prepare equipment for treatments using aseptic technique.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
