Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to deliver hands-on care to residents in a warm, home-like environment. The role focuses on assisting with ADLs, documenting care, and supporting residents’ emotional well-being.

The position requires a valid HHA license and prefers prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living setting, with dementia experience considered a plus. Expect shifts across mornings, evenings, and overnights with weekend options.

Qualifications

• Valid HHA license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred but not required.
• Experience working with residents with dementia is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care provided and report changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive excellent care.
• Other duties as needed.

We are looking for a compassionate HHA to join our team! As a Home Health Aid, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

Shifts: 7:00am - 3:00pm, 3:00pm-11:00pm, 11:00pm-7:00am

Schedule: Sunday & Monday, or Friday & Saturday

HHA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid HHA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
