Touchmark in the West Hills, a premier retirement community in Portland, Oregon, is seeking compassionate Home Care Caregivers to join our dedicated team. This part-time role supports residents with daily living tasks and offers meaningful interaction in a warm, hospitality‑driven environment.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal planning and companionship, helping residents maintain independence and quality of life while upholding Touchmark's values of

Responsabilidades

We are currently seeking compassionate and hospitality-minded people to join our growing team as Home Care Caregivers!

Part-time

Wages: $20.80 - $24.32 DOE + Shift Differentials

Our Home Care Services team serve residents of Touchmark in the West Hills and operates out of our beautiful community. This is an incredibly special opportunity to make a positive impact in the life of another person daily, and to build relationships with some amazing people at the same time.

As a Home Care Caregiver, you will assist residents with a variety of daily living activities in the comfort of their own homes - activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming; general housekeeping and laundry tasks; nutritious meal planning and preparation; and grocery shopping, to name a few. You will also provide something that is so important to everyone: companionship, which may be in the form of reading a book together, going for walks, doing crafts, listening to music together, or just having a simple conversation.

The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will:

• Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
• Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
• Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
