Job summary

Wingate University is seeking applicants to fill several part-time, adjunct teaching positions in History. These roles will primarily teach in-person classes on our main campus unless otherwise specified.

Ideal candidates hold a master’s degree or higher, have college teaching experience, and are familiar with Canvas and tools such as Zoom, Snagit, and Camtasia to enhance learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a related discipline and college teaching experience.
• Experience with learning management system Canvas and content development tools such as Zoom, Snagit, Camtasia and other e-learning tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in the History discipline.
• Regular, predictable attendance on campus (for in-person classes).
• Alignment with University mission, vision, and strategic roadmap.
• Other job duties/responsibilities may be assigned.
