Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution, in history; or
• Master’s or higher in any field with 18 graduate semester hours in history.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned History classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
• Utilize technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Modify lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials as appropriate; maintain accurate records and grades.
• Engage with students proactively to provide a positive Ivy Tech experience.
• Demonstrate teaching strategies that engage students in learning.
• Interact professionally with students and coworkers per College policies.
• Maintain a safe, quality educational environment.
