Study Smart Tutors in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Part-Time High School Scholarship Preparation Instructor to guide students through scholarship applications and prep work.

This in-person role requires a completed 4-year degree, tutoring or teaching experience, and availability Thursdays 4:00 PM–6:00 PM CST. The position offers an excellent hourly rate and benefits such as 401(k) and counseling.

We work with schools, non-profits, and colleges to prepare first-gen students for college and careers. Our work includes exam preparation, professional development for school staff, family workshops, and consulting.

• Subjects to be taught: Exploring and Preparing to Apply for Different Scholarships
• Provide facilitation support to large groups of students within a classroom setting
• Facilitators will have access to information about class assignments
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff
• Partner with Study Smart's Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MUST hold a completed 4-year degree
• Teaching or tutoring experience is required
• In-person availability is required
• Scheduled hours: Thursday 4:00PM - 6:00 PM CST
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.
