Job summary

GradePower Learning Centers in San Antonio, TX seeks a part-time High School Math Tutor to work after school and evenings with 9th–12th graders, covering advanced functions, algebra, trig, calculus, and vectors. You will tutor up to three students at a time, using our proven teaching methodologies while maintaining a friendly, professional environment.

We value reliable, upbeat educators with strong math skills, English communication, and the ability to multitask.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field.
• Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.
• Applicants must live in or within a short commute of the San Antonio area.
• In-person instruction only; must be able to commute to the San Antonio location.
• Teaching certification is an asset.
• Fourth‑year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of the current 9th–12th grade math curriculum, including advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, and vectors.

Responsibilities

• Teaching up to three students at a time at different levels.
• Using GradePower Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Completing post‑lesson notes and daily student communication updates.
• Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times.
