Qualifications

• Preference will be given to current certificated employees of Oakland Unified School District who possess a valid CA teaching credential.
• Certifications required include: Fundamentals of Coaching (High School) - does not expire; Middle School Coaching - does not expire; Concussion in Sports - expires every 3 years; Sudden Cardiac Arrest - expires every 2 years; Heat Illness Prevention - expires every 2 years; CPR & FIRST AID from an instructor led class - expires every 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and coach students in the sport indicated.
• Help arrange playing schedules.
• Perform/assist in all coaching responsibilities associated with the position.
• Attend all required meetings and trainings as specified by OAL.
