Job summary

Albemarle County Public Schools is seeking athletic coaches for a general pool at Western Albemarle High School. Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience is required.
• Coaching/playing experience for the sport is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Develop practice schedules and train athletes.
• Travel with athletes for matches.
• Engage in physical activities with student-athletes.

Skills

Knowledge of VHSL rules and regulations

Ability to develop and train AA student-athletes

Positive relations with parents and the community

Teamwork and good sportsmanship

Education

Virginia teaching license (preferred)
