Job summary

Reid’s Tannery Promotional Products, a division of H&K Group, Inc., is seeking part-time help in the production area to assist with heat transfer applications on garments and fabrics. Ideal candidates are experienced, accurate, detail-oriented, friendly, and professional. A resume is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities include receiving transfers, reading orders, preparing production packs, and ensuring correct press settings. This role may also support the retail store.

Qualifications

• Experience with Tajima 4-head machines or similar equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Organized and detail oriented; able to manage multiple tasks.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet customer deadlines.
• Ability to take initiative and work well in a team.
• Ability to fit test and utilize PPE as needed.
• Must meet physical requirements including lifting up to 40 pounds.

• Positions image according to job specifications.
• Adjusts temperature, pressure, and timing controls.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.
• Operates flat and hat heat presses.
• Performs additional duties including assisting in the retail store.
• Must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.
• Physical requirement includes lifting/moving up to 40 pounds.

Operates heat transfer press to apply preprinted graphic images to garments, fabrics, or other materials.

The ideal candidate is experienced, accurate, detail oriented, friendly, and professional. A resume is strongly preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receives heat transfers with production order


• Read work orders


• Count and prepare orders for production include unpacking of products out of their plastic or boxes.


• Check transfer press for proper temperature, time and pressure settings in accordance with fabric and transfer type.


• Positions image according to job specifications


• Adjust temperature, pressure, and timing controls


• Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment


• Heat presses include flat and hat machines.


• Additional miscellaneous duties assisting the staff in the retail store


• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.


• The physical requirements are to be able to lift and/or move 10-25 pounds.
