Job summary

South Kingstown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a part-time cook to join our dietary team in Rhode Island. The role focuses on preparing and distributing all food production within the Dietary department, ensuring quality and safety for residents.

In the absence of the Food Service Director, you will supervise all Dietary department personnel, coordinating workflow and maintaining standards in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Certification in Food Safety and Sanitation (required).
• Minimum of two years’ experience in healthcare food service.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute all food production in the Dietary department.
• Supervisor duties in the absence of the Food Service Director, including Dietary department staff.
