Job summary

JVS of MetroWest in East Orange, NJ, is seeking a part-time instructor for credit-free healthcare programs (EKG, Phlebotomy, Medical Assistant). Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree required.
• National Health Association (NHA) Certification.
• Proven track record assisting students pass the NHA exam.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in EKG, Phlebotomy, or Medical Assistant teaching.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with diverse staff and students.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong integrity and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds; teaching presence.
• Flexible schedule mornings, evenings, or weekends.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom instruction to adult credit-free Patient Care Technician students.
• Deliver lectures with hands-on techniques.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver approved curriculum.
• Track and report student grades and attendance.
• Lead, motivate, and advise students to participate.
• Provide timely feedback to students and school.
