Corbin Health & Rehabilitation Center in Corbin, KY is hiring a part-time Housekeeping Aide. The role focuses on ensuring the cleanliness, appearance and maintenance of resident areas and shared spaces, working with the Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor to implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of cleaning
• Ability to perform simple math for measurements
• Ability to multitask with minimal supervision
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, staff and visitors
• Careful handling of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Ability to minimize waste of supplies and equipment
• Willingness to learn and adapt housekeeping practices
• Team player with basic communication skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, appearance and maintenance of facility interior and furnishings
• Work with Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor on improvements
• Follow all housekeeping procedures per policies
• Clean designated outdoor areas and assist with sanitizing resident and public spaces
• Perform periodic cleaning tasks (windows, waxing, polishing) as assigned
• Ensure areas remain clean and orderly throughout the day
• Properly dispose of trash and use labeled containers
• Present a clean, personable appearance to visitors and residents
