Job summary

Haven of Bement in Bement, Illinois is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at our skilled nursing and long-term care facility. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

This part-time position offers weekend availability, pay of $15.00 per hour, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for growth with paid vacation/holidays and daily pay access.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Healthcare or nursing home experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Perform routine housekeeping duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
• Follow infection control and sanitation procedures in a healthcare setting
• Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping equipment and carts
• Replenish linens, towels, toiletries, and other supplies
• Assist with laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and distributing items
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment throughout the facility
• Respond promptly and professionally to housekeeping requests
