Job summary

Encompass Onsite Cleaning Systems in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a part-time housekeeper to perform daily cleaning of patient rooms, offices, lounges and other areas in accordance with our standards. Candidates should have basic reading and communication skills, be able to lift 25-45 pounds, work in damp environments, and follow safety procedures.

Prior housekeeping experience is preferred; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is highly preferred.
• Hard surface (resilient floor) care experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operates vacuums and cleaning equipment.
• Maintain sanitary conditions; clean and replace equipment and furnishings.
• Must clean damp, dusty areas and assist with waste disposal.
• Disposal of trash and waste according to safety rules.
• Follow safety regulations and chemical handling training.
• Damp dust furniture, light fixtures, windowsills, etc.
• Empty trash containers daily; mop floors as scheduled.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, bathrooms, and exhaust vents.
• Report repairs to supervisor as needed.
