Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping in a commercial, clinical, or healthcare environment preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, speaking skills and understand English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions required.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and custodial tasks to maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the facility.
• Cleans facility rooms, baths, offices and halls using buffers, scrubbers, sweepers and related equipment.
• Operates commercial washers and dryers and launders soiled linens as directed.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and linen in the department.
• Follows infection control standards and safety guidelines and uses appropriate disinfectants.
• Prepares rooms for meetings and arranges decorations and furniture for facility functions.
