Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field with quantitative coursework
• Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years of professional analytics-related experience
• Strong judgment, prioritization of multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to convey complex concepts clearly
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
• Intermediate understanding of healthcare datasets (claims, clinical, authorization) and data extraction/analysis
• Ability to solve moderately complex analytic problems and generate actionable insights
• Understanding of data pipelines from source systems (e.g., EPIC) to data warehouses
• Experience with chronic disease identification and health performance metrics
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas)
• SQL skills; Tableau or ArcGIS for visualization preferred
• Experience with SAS or R preferred

Responsibilities

• Transform data into actionable insights to drive strategic decisions
• Conduct driver analysis to identify factors influencing outcomes and predict utilization
• Provide consultation to internal stakeholders on performance measures
• Assist stakeholders with standardized reports and population health analyses
• Serve as analytics liaison to communicate data requirements and drive data-driven decisions
• Implement logic specifications based on business understanding
• Independently develop analytic plans to address business questions
• Prepare presentations for non-technical audiences
• Mentor junior analysts and expand data capabilities
• Use advanced querying techniques for complex data manipulation and analyses
