Job summary

CVS Pharmacy is hiring a part-time Retail Store Associate to join our store team. The role involves delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers, handling cash transactions, and supporting inventory and store operations.

Responsibilities also include collaborating with pharmacy and beauty departments, restocking, maintaining pricing accuracy, and promoting CVS loyalty programs. High school diploma preferred; 16+; physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently.
• Visual acuity to read a computer screen and small parts.
• Preferred: previous experience in retail or customer service setting.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues.
• Greet customers warmly and assist with locating items.
• Perform cashier duties with cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Restock shelves, update pricing, and assist with inventory management.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Assist pharmacy staff and support departments including photo and beauty.
• Promote CVS services and loyalty programs to customers.
