Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a part-time Adjunct Instructor for the Health Information Technology Department at Malcolm X College in Chicago. The ideal candidate will be committed to teaching and able to use effective strategies that engage students in critical thinking.

Responsibilities include designing courses, fostering student participation, and using assessments to drive learning outcomes. A Master’s Degree in Health Information Technology and RHIT/RHIA credential are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in the Health Information Technology field. RHIT/RHIA credential highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Blackboard Learning Management System preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate with a diverse group of staff and students required.
• Experience with a diverse, multi-lingual student population desired.
