Responsibilities

• Round with attending physician every morning to surface overnight changes.
• Float between triage and treatment as census shifts in South Bend, IN.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate discharge planning and transitions of care.
• De-escalate agitated patients with presence and voice before restraints.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and care teams.
• Maintain a clean, organized, fast-paced care setting.
• Document refusals, allergies, and advance directives for teams.
