Position Overview: Manage inbound and outbound calls to provide excellent customer service, resolve inquiries, and ensure customer satisfaction.

This is a part-time role requiring work on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and rotating Saturdays from 03:00PM – 11:30PM. Overtime may be necessary based on business needs.

We offer 4 weeks of paid virtual training from 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday through Friday, conducted from your home.

Employees in Minnesota or Wisconsin may have the flexibility to work remotely.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Review electronic chart documentation for accuracy and duplicates.
  2. Process release of information (ROI) requests.
  3. Manage documentation requests.
  4. Scan and edit documents in electronic medical records.
  5. Retrieve, file, and deliver medical records.
  6. Train and mentor co-workers as needed.
  7. Analyze documentation for regulatory compliance.
  8. Maintain principles of health information accuracy and accessibility.
  9. Utilize MS Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and communication.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Availability to work specified shifts and training hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Experience with Health Information Management (HIM).
  • Experience in healthcare insurance and clinical settings.
  • Call center experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient and staff backgrounds.
  • Clerical or administrative support experience.
  • RHIT or RHIA certification.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
Telecommuting Requirements:
  • Reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin.
  • Secure a dedicated, private work area.
  • Have access to high-speed internet.

The hourly wage ranges from $16.88 to $33.22, based on various factors including experience, location, and certifications.
