Instructors must hold an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management, and RHIT/RHIA/CCS credentials with at least three years of experience. Courses include HIM 182, HIM 270/273/276, HIM 272/277, HIM 275.

Qualifications

• Instructor Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management.
• Current credential as RHIT, RHIA, or CCS.
• Three years work experience in Health Information Management profession.

Education

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management

Bachelors or Masters degree in Health Care Administration, Masters in Public Health or related graduate degree, or other credential/licence in healthcare
