State of Georgia is seeking a Health Care Worker (Part time) in Columbus, GA at West Central Georgia Regional Hospital to provide health care assistance to clients. This hourly position is scheduled for less than 30 hours per week and may not include benefits.

Duties include assisting with medications and treatments, taking vital signs, observing patients, and aiding with daily activities while ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Relevant health care experience preferred.
• Ability to follow physician or nurse instructions.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and vaccinations.

Responsabilités

• Answers clients' call signals
• Assists with medications and treatments; takes vital signs
• Bathes, grooms, shaves and dresses clients
• Supports activities for recreation and socialization
• Ensures safety and security of clients
• Feeds clients who are unable to feed themselves
• Observes and documents patient data and behavior
• Assists with walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed
• Provides basic therapy-related support services as indicated
• Transports clients when needed using wheelchair or stretcher
• Turns and re-positions bedridden clients to prevent bedsores
