Job summary

CKYHS Hodgenville, KY is seeking a part-time Head Start Bus Driver to transport students to and from Head Start centers, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. The role requires a valid CDL, clean driving record, First Aid/CPR, liability insurance, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

You will operate on designated routes and maintain vehicle safety. You will complete documentation on time, keep the vehicle clean, and coordinate with centers and staff to deliver reliable

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license with no points against license or moving violations in the past two years.
• Must possess personal liability insurance.
• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must possess a valid First Aid/CPR certification.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and lift from floor to 18 inches.
• Must understand and follow instructions; good vision and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transports students to and from Head Start centers on designated routes.
• Ensures passenger safety and vehicle compliance with regulations.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs basic safety checks.
• Completes documentation and recordkeeping on policy procedures.
• Operates handicapped accessible vehicles as required and protects agency property.
