Essential Functions:

• Monitor and assist customers at self-checkout registers
• Interact proactively with customers to recommend products and services
• Greet, assist, and engage with customers across multiple registers
• Stand, walk, reach, bend, lift, and move products to complete transactions
• Thank customers and invite them to return

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service following Lowe's policies
• Assist customers in locating and demonstrating products
• Respond promptly to customer questions and provide store information
• Train and support team members
• Use cash register for transactions, returns, and refunds
• Handle merchandise, phone calls, and register coverage efficiently

In-stock:

• Prepare registers at shift start/end, check functionality, stock supplies
• Inspect returned merchandise for damages
• Process customer orders and verify receipts
• Manage online orders and returned items
• Compare prices and record store item usage

Clean and Safe Stores:

• Monitor cash drawers, security tags, and merchandise entry/exit
• Identify and report theft or security risks
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards
• Operate store equipment as needed

General:

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year experience with computers and retail tech
• 1-2 years retail cashier experience
• Lift up to 15 pounds with/without accommodation

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in product sales, credit, warranties, and customer needs assessment
• Experience as head cashier and in Lowe's store departments
• Supervisory experience and shoplifting detection skills
