Essential Functions:

Assisted Self Check Out

• Monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers.
• Proactively recommend products and services to customers.
• Greet and engage with customers at multiple registers.
• Move throughout the checkout area performing physical tasks to ensure transaction accuracy.
• Thank customers and invite them back to Lowe’s.

Customer Service

• Provide excellent customer service following Lowe's policies.
• Assist customers in locating and demonstrating merchandise.
• Respond to customer and employee questions promptly and knowledgeably.
• Show appreciation to customers.
• Communicate product and service information.
• Train and coach team members.
• Process transactions using a cash register.
• Support front-end team with supervision and coaching.
• Handle security tags, product verification, and bagging.
• Manage incoming calls and register coverage.
• Assist with line vesting for quicker checkout.

In-stock

• Prepare register area and stock supplies.
• Inspect returned merchandise.
• Handle customer orders and verify receipts.
• Manage online orders and returns.
• Verify prices and record store inventory usage.

Clean and Safe Stores

• Monitor cash and safety bags.
• Assist with security and shoplifting prevention.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Ensure safety compliance and operate store equipment as needed.

General

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year of experience with computers and retail technology.
• 1-2 years of retail cashier experience.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in product sales, customer needs assessment, and shoplifting detection.
• Experience as a head cashier or in supervisory roles.
