Essential Functions:

• Assisted Self Check Out
• Demonstrates ability to monitor and identify customers needing assistance at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously.
• Approaches and interacts proactively with customers to recommend products and services.
• Greets, assists, and engages with multiple customers across registers.
• Moves throughout the checkout area, standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and moving products for transactions.
• Thanks customers and invites them back.

Customer Service:

• Provides excellent customer service following Lowe's policies and procedures.
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, and selecting merchandise.
• Responds promptly to questions and guides customers through projects.
• Shows sincere appreciation to customers.
• Communicates product, warranty, and program information.
• Trains and coaches associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities.
• Uses a cash register for transactions, returns, and refunds.
• Provides proper change and supports Front End team.
• Handles security tags, verifies products, bags merchandise, and manages calls.
• Opens additional registers as needed and assists with line management.

In-stock:

• Prepares register area at shift start/end, checks equipment, stocks supplies.
• Inspects returned merchandise.
• Enters customer orders, verifies receipts, and manages online orders and returns.
• Checks prices and records store item usage.

Clean and Safe Stores:

• Monitors cash and merchandise security.
• Detects shoplifting signs and reports security issues.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety standards.
• Operates store equipment as required.

General:

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year experience with computers and retail technology.
• 1-2 years retail cashier experience.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in product sales, customer needs assessment, and supervisory roles.
