Essential Functions:

• Assisted Self Check Out
• Demonstrates ability to monitor and identify customers needing assistance at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously.
• Approaches and interacts with customers to recommend products and services appropriately.
• Proactively greets, assists, and engages with multiple customers across registers.
• Moves throughout the checkout area, standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and moving product to ensure accurate transactions.
• Thanks customers and invites them back to Lowe’s.

Customer Service:

• Provides excellent customer service consistently, following Lowe's policies and procedures.
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, and selecting merchandise.
• Responds to questions promptly and knowledgeably.
• Shows sincere appreciation to customers.
• Communicates product and warranty information effectively.
• Trains and coaches team members in departmental duties and sales.
• Processes sales, returns, and refunds using a cash register.
• Provides proper change and supports front-end team.
• Handles security tags, verifies products, bags merchandise.
• Answers and directs phone calls.
• Opens additional registers as needed and assists with line management.

In-stock:

• Prepares register area at start/end of shift, checks functionality, stocks supplies.
• Inspects returned merchandise for damages.
• Enters and manages customer orders, verifies receipts, and signs loading tickets.
• Reviews online orders and returns merchandise appropriately.
• Looks up product info and compares prices for price matching.
• Records store usage items.

Clean and Safe Stores:

• Monitors cash drawers and obtains safety bags.
• Monitors store entrances/exits for security.
• Detects shoplifting and communicates risks to management.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization per standards.
• Ensures a safe work environment and follows safety protocols.
• Operates store equipment as needed.

General:

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year of experience with computers and retail technology.
• 1-2 years of retail cashier experience.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in product sales, customer needs assessment, and supervisory roles.
• Experience in shoplifting detection.
