Essential Functions:

• Monitor and assist customers at self-checkout registers
• Interact proactively with customers to recommend products and services
• Greet, assist, and engage with customers across multiple registers
• Move throughout the checkout area performing standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting activities
• Thank customers and invite them back to Lowe’s

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service following Lowe's policies
• Assist customers in locating, demonstrating, and loading merchandise
• Respond promptly to customer and employee questions
• Communicate product and service information effectively
• Train and coach team members
• Use cash register for transactions, returns, and refunds
• Support front-end team with supervision and support
• Handle security tags, verify products, and bag merchandise
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Open additional registers as needed
• Assist with line management for quicker checkout

In-stock:

• Prepare register area at shift start and end
• Inspect returned merchandise
• Manage customer orders and verify receipts
• Review and process online orders and returns
• Verify prices and look up product information
• Record store item usage

Clean and Safe Stores:

• Monitor cash drawers and security alarms
• Detect and report shoplifting and security risks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization
• Ensure safety compliance and operate store equipment

General:

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year experience with computers and retail technology
• 1-2 years retail cashier experience
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in product sales, customer needs assessment, and supervisory roles
