Essential Functions:
- Monitor and assist customers at self-checkout registers
- Interact proactively with customers to recommend products and services
- Greet and assist customers at multiple registers
- Stand, walk, reach, bend, lift, and move merchandise as needed
- Thank customers and invite them back
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service following Lowe's policies
- Assist customers in locating and demonstrating merchandise
- Respond promptly to customer questions
- Train and coach team members
- Use cash register for transactions
- Handle refunds, returns, and monetary exchanges
- Support front-end team and assist with line management
In-stock:
- Prepare register area, check functionality, and stock supplies
- Inspect returned merchandise
- Process customer orders and verify receipts
- Manage online orders and returns
- Verify product prices and information
Store Safety and Cleanliness:
- Monitor cash and security alarms
- Detect shoplifting and security risks
- Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards
- Operate store equipment as required
Minimum Requirements:
- Less than 1 year of experience with computers and retail technology
- 1-2 years of retail cashier experience
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
Preferences:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in product sales and customer needs assessment
- Experience as a head cashier and in supervisory roles
