Essential Functions:

Assisted Self Check Out

• Monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers.
• Proactively engage with customers to recommend products and services.
• Greet and assist customers across multiple registers.
• Move throughout the checkout area to ensure smooth transactions.
• Thank customers and invite them back to Lowe’s.

Customer Service

• Provide excellent customer service according to Lowe's policies.
• Assist customers in locating and demonstrating merchandise.
• Respond promptly to customer and employee inquiries.
• Communicate product and service information effectively.
• Train and coach team members.
• Process sales transactions and refunds using a cash register.
• Support front-end team with supervision and support.
• Handle security tags, verify product info, and bag merchandise.
• Answer and direct phone calls.
• Open additional registers as needed.
• Assist with line vesting for quicker checkout.

In-stock

• Prepare the register area at the start and end of shifts.
• Inspect returned merchandise for damages.
• Manage customer orders and verify receipts.
• Handle online orders and returns appropriately.
• Verify prices and look up product info for price matching.
• Record store item usage.

Clean and Safe Stores

• Monitor cash and security bags, ensuring proper cash levels.
• Assist with store security and loss prevention.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Ensure a safe working environment and adhere to safety standards.
• Operate store equipment as required.

General

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year of experience with computers and retail technology.
• 1-2 years of retail cashier experience.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in product sales, customer needs assessment, and warranties.
• Experience as a head cashier and in retail departments.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience in loss prevention and shoplifting detection.
