Essential Functions
- Monitor and assist customers at self-checkout registers
- Interact proactively with customers to recommend products and services
- Greet, assist, and engage with multiple customers simultaneously
- Ensure accurate transactions by moving throughout the checkout area
- Thank customers and invite them back to Lowe’s
Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service following Lowe's policies
- Assist customers in locating and demonstrating merchandise
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide product information
- Train and support team members
- Process sales transactions and refunds
- Support front-end team with register operations and security measures
In-stock
- Prepare and maintain register area
- Inspect returned merchandise
- Handle customer orders and verify receipts
- Manage online orders and merchandise returns
- Price match products and record store inventory usage
Store Safety and Cleanliness
- Monitor cash drawers and store security
- Assist with theft prevention and store security
- Maintain cleanliness and organization
- Operate store equipment as required
Minimum Requirements
- Less than 1 year experience with computers and retail technology
- 1-2 years retail cashier experience
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
Preferences
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in product sales, customer needs assessment, and supervisory roles
