Essential Functions:

• Assist customers at self-checkout registers by monitoring and identifying those needing help
• Interact proactively with customers to recommend products and services
• Greet, assist, and engage with multiple customers across registers simultaneously
• Move throughout the checkout area to ensure accurate transactions
• Thank customers and invite them back to Lowe’s

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service according to Lowe's policies
• Help customers locate and select merchandise, demonstrate product features, and explain warranties
• Respond promptly to customer and employee questions
• Train and support team members
• Process sales transactions, returns, and refunds using a cash register
• Assist with store operations such as opening registers, bagging merchandise, and answering phones

In-stock:

• Prepare register area at shift start and end, check equipment, and stock supplies
• Inspect returned merchandise for damages
• Manage online orders and returned items
• Verify prices and record store item usage

Clean and Safe Stores:

• Monitor store entrances and exits for security
• Detect and report shoplifting and security risks
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards
• Operate store equipment as needed

General:

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year experience with computers and retail technology
• 1-2 years retail cashier experience
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in product sales, customer needs assessment, and supervisory roles
