Essential Functions:

NOTE: Minors in this role may not be responsible for some activities listed below.

• Assisted Self Check Out
• Demonstrates ability to monitor and identify customers needing assistance at multiple self-checkout registers
• Proactively greets, assists, and engages with customers at multiple registers
• Moves throughout the checkout area ensuring transaction accuracy
• Thanks customers and invites them back

Customer Service

• Provides excellent customer service following Lowe's policies
• Assists customers in locating and demonstrating products
• Responds promptly to questions and guides customers through projects
• Communicates product and warranty information
• Trains and coaches associates
• Uses a cash register for transactions, returns, and refunds
• Supports front-end team with supervision and support

In-stock

• Prepares register area before and after shifts
• Inspects returned merchandise
• Handles customer orders and online returns
• Verifies prices and records store item usage

Clean and Safe Stores

• Monitors cash in drawers and store entrances/exits
• Detects shoplifting and communicates risks
• Maintains store cleanliness and safety standards
• Operates store equipment as needed

General

• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Less than 1 year of computer experience
• Less than 1 year of retail technology experience
• 1-2 years of retail cashier experience
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

Preferences:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in product sales and customer needs assessment
• Experience as a head cashier and in Lowe's store departments
• Supervisory experience
