Job summary

The Salvation Army Pendleton Thrift Store is seeking a Hard Goods Sorter/Pricing Associate to join our team. This 29-hour-per-week, part-time role involves sorting, cleaning, pricing, and shelving hard goods, while delivering friendly customer service on the sales floor.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, retail experience is a plus, and the ability to operate pricing and tagging tasks. A valid Oregon driver’s license and willingness to work nights/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preference for experience in consumer retail.
• Knowledge of second-hand products and general retail pricing desirable.
• Able to adapt to fast-paced product processing environment (sorting, cleaning, moving product to sales floor).
• Experience driving a 24-foot delivery truck required.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Sort, clean, price, and shelve items at the Hard Goods Processing Station.
• Interact with customers on the sales floor in a positive, helpful manner.
• Keep the Hard Goods area clean, organized, and properly priced.
• Attend thrift store staff meetings; dress code enforced.
• May be cross-trained in other product processing or sales areas as needed.
