Brevard Armory LLC is seeking a passionate Part-Time Gun Sales Associate in Melbourne, FL. You will help customers find the right firearms, ammo, and accessories while ensuring compliant, customer‑friendly service.

You'll handle transactions, perform NICS checks, stay current on laws, and maintain neat displays. A strong customer focus and flexible weekends are valued in this fast-paced retail environment.

• Maintain product knowledge on handguns, rifles, shotguns, and related gear.
• Ensure proper merchandising, inventory organization, and display of firearms and accessories.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with gun enthusiasts and first-time buyers alike.
• Assist with receiving, logging, and tagging new inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting firearms, ammunition, and accessories based on their needs
• Process firearm transactions in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including ATF Form 4473
• Conduct NICS background checks accurately and efficiently
• Maintain product knowledge on handguns, rifles, shotguns, and related gear
• Ensure proper merchandising, inventory organization, and display of firearms and accessories

Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years of age and legally eligible to handle firearms
• Prior firearms retail or gun shop experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of federal and Florida state firearms laws and regulations
• Familiarity with ATF compliance, Form 4473, and NICS background check procedures
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible part‑time schedule including weekends
• Passion for firearms, hunting, shooting sports, or self‑defense a plus
