SERVICE ATTENDANT JOB DESCRIPTION

Reports to: Food and Beverage Manager | FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time or Part-Time

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Guest Attendant services guest requests related to golf simulators and food and beverage needs. Responsibilities include delivering food, drinks, condiments, and other requests, clearing dishes from service areas, and assisting the barkeeper with daily duties.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Food and Beverage

• Interact with customers to serve food and drinks
• Restock and replenish inventory and supplies
• Maintain a guest-focused approach to ensure an excellent experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Keep service areas clean and tidy
• Handle credit card transactions as needed
• Communicate effectively with cooks and barkeepers
• Follow Alpen Bluffs standard open and close procedures
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Complete end-of-shift transaction reports
• Enter food and drink orders accurately into the POS system
• Assist with expo services from the kitchen
• Perform other duties as assigned

Golf Simulator Responsibilities

• Check in guests and guide them to their bays
• Administer golf club rentals
• Ensure simulators are functioning properly
• Care for and return rental clubs appropriately
• Manage merchandise rack opening and closing
• Clean and reset golf simulators
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum age of 16
• Some knowledge of food service
• Computer literacy
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to organize, stock, and clean areas
• Comfortable handling guest payments
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Calm demeanor for a fast-paced environment
