Job summary

United Dairy Farmers in Columbus is seeking a part-time Guest Services Associate to support the Store Manager and deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience to every guest. The role is 25 hours or less per week with shifts potentially 1st, 2nd or 3rd.

The position involves preparing DipSide items, operating the POS and gas console, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment for customers. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• Speak, hear and understand English well enough to communicate with customers.
• Operate store equipment including POS terminal and gas console.
• Understand operating instructions for store equipment.
• Prepare DipSide items using dip cabinets.
• Handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions and make change.
• Move merchandise to shelves/displays and keep areas clean.

Responsibilities

• Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience; greet Guests warmly and ensure the store is prepared for Customers.
• DipSide Guest Services: prepare shakes/malts, cups/cones, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed items.
• Efficient operation of POS system and gas console; process transactions accurately.
• Stock merchandise; keep shelves, freezers, and dip cabinet presentable.
• Maintain store safety and cleanliness; monitor equipment temperatures.
• Complete time records and the Customer First Document; handle other duties as assigned.
